What are the responsibilities of an educated person? (University of Puget Sound)

Educated person is a man who is no ordinary than the rest. Therefore, as an educated man, the responsibility of an ordinary man should be extraordinary not because of their education but because of who they are in the society, as an educated person, I think that they should do what they think is right to do that is acceptable in the society would be their responsibility.

Educated person may have a little more knowledge than people that are not educated although, if their knowledge does not come into action then, the education would be worthless. A responsibility would be to live a life that expresses the educated man's education to the society and that would expose it to the world and that would make the person an extraordinary man. Living a normal life yet doing something that is inspiring some people would make the ordinary educated man an extraordinary person and that would reflect their education. Example: if the educated person knows that smoking is a bad habit because of their education but, the person smokes himself then that would not reflect the responsibility of an educated person, rather that would make him a person someone that is a bad influence.

Doing great things that is visible for the society is what humans expect to do in the world and they forget to show their own social values or apply their education in their daily life activities. And that makes them failure to the responsibility they have as an educated person because they fail to do something regular. The famous people may be educated, well known to the world but if they do not live the life of example implicating their education in their real lives would make the education worthless.

The responsibility of an educated person would be to live a life of good example applying what they have learned. And that living a normal human life, following to be good example would be the best responsibility of an educated person. Applying their education in a person's life is the most important responsibility.
